There are JACK installers for Windows, Macintosh, Unix, generic Java and the iPAQ.

Licence Conditions

                          JACK SOFTWARE EVALUATION LICENCE (60 days) PLEASE READ THIS LICENCE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING OR USING THE JACK SOFTWARE OR MATERIALS. Contact jack-release@aosgrp.com if clarification is required. These terms and conditions (the "Terms") of this licence agreement (the "Agreement") govern your use of JACK software (the "Software") and related materials (the "Materials"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not download or use the Software or the Materials. If you request a copy of the Software and/or Materials, download the Software and/or Materials, or use or attempt to use the Software and/or Materials, you are taken to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms. IMPORTANT: Please be aware that the JACK software is provided for evaluation purposes only and may be programmed to cease functioning on certain conditions. 1. AVAILABLE ONLY FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES The Software and Materials are made available without charge in order to enable you to evaluate the Software. You must not use the Software for any commercial purpose. AOS would appreciate any feedback you have in relation to the Software or Materials. 2. WARRANTIES, DISCLAIMERS AND DISCLOSURES The Software is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. AOS does not warrant that the functionality of the Software will meet your requirements, that the operation of the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects in the version of the Software downloaded will be corrected by AOS. AOS does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the Software or Materials in terms of the completeness, accuracy, reliability or otherwise. 3. LIABILITY You agree to assume the entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Software and Materials. AOS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, savings or data or wasted expenditure arising from the use or inability to use the Software or Materials. Nothing herein shall exclude, restrict or modify any condition, warranty or liability which may at any time be implied by any Trade Practices, Fair Trading, Sale of Goods or Credit legislation or regulation or any other State or Federal law where to do so is illegal or would render any provision of this Agreement void. In such cases and where permitted by the legislation, AOS's liability in respect of any such provision shall be limited at the option of AOS to: (a) the replacement of the Software and/or the Materials or the supply of equivalent products; or (b) the repair of the Software and/or Materials. 4. OWNERSHIP AND LICENCE All rights, title and interest including intellectual property in the Software and the Materials is, and will remain, vested in AOS. AOS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the term of this Agreement, to use the Software and Materials only for the purpose of evaluating the functionality of the Software. You must not use the Software or Materials for commercial purposes or any purpose resulting in commercial gain of any kind whatsoever. Under the Terms of this Agreement you: (a) may make one copy of the Software and the Materials for backup purposes only; (b) must not reverse assemble, reverse engineer or reverse compile, alter, modify, adapt, disassemble, decrypt or create alternate or derivative works of the Software or any part thereof or the Materials; (c) must not sub-licence, loan, sell, transfer or otherwise distribute the Software or any part thereof or the Materials to any other person; (d) must not make the Software or the Materials available to any other person; (e) must not copy the Software or Materials in a way not specifically permitted herein; and (f) must not use the Software and/or Materials for any purpose other than the non-commercial purpose of evaluating the functionality of the Software. AOS reserves any rights not expressly granted to you. 5. SECURITY You will be solely responsible for the use, management and control of the Software and Materials during the term of this Agreement. 6. SUPPORT No support or maintenance is provided with the Jack evaluation software. However, AOS is happy to assist you where it can and all feedback is appreciated. 7. LICENCE RIGHTS You hereby grant to AOS an irrevocable licence to use, copy, distribute, sub-licence, display, perform and create any works based on any feedback you give us including any materials, fixes, error corrections, enhancements or suggestions. 8. TERM AND TERMINATION This Agreement is effective until terminated. The Agreement may be terminated by AOS either: (a) 60 days after the date on which AOS supplies you with the Software and Materials; or (b) immediately without notice for any reason, including but not limited to any breach by you of any Term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must delete or destroy the Software, the Materials and all copies thereof. 9. LEGAL PROCEEDINGS - JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW AOS may take legal proceedings against you or third parties if there is any actual, threatened or suspected breach of this Agreement, including proceedings for an injunction to restrain such breach. This Agreement shall be construed, governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. 10.
